Guild Media begun in 1997 as partnership between Michael Harrison and Leo Plaw. We were orignally set up in the Queensland screen arts cente, QPIX in Woolloongabba, Brisbane. We then teamed up with a number of other new media developers and moved in the Morton Rubberworks across the road. This proved to be a very productive and creative time.
In 2000, Leo and Michael headed in different directions, with Leo then being based in Sydney. Valuable experience was gained here working some of Australia's largest organizations. 2000 was also the year of the Dot Com crash, however Guild Media continued on.
Europe beckoned and then in 2003 projects were being managed from London. Telecommuting, and digital business became a proof of concept.
